There is never any cost to vote. You do not have to donate, buy merchandise, or give money of any kind in order to register, to vote, or to participate in any election.

Registering to vote and casting your ballot in Arizona are free. No contribution to this campaign is required, requested, or considered in connection with your ability to vote. Anyone who tells you that you must pay to vote is misinforming you.

For official voter registration, ballot, and election-date information, contact the Pinal County Recorder / Elections Department or the Arizona Secretary of State. Nothing on this site is official election guidance.

Maricopa City Council is a nonpartisan office. Candidates appear on the ballot without a political party designation, and this campaign does not run as the nominee or representative of any political party.

This campaign is not authorized by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or coordinated with any political party, party committee, political action committee, candidate for another office, or government agency, including the City of Maricopa. Any reference to a party, organization, elected official, or public body is for identification and informational purposes only and does not imply their endorsement.

Endorsements shown on this site are the personal views of the individuals who gave them and do not represent the views of their employers or of any organization with which they are affiliated unless expressly stated.

Contributions to Chrystal O'Jon for City Council Committee are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes.

By contributing, you certify that:

• The contribution is made from your own funds and not from the funds of another person or entity.
• The contribution is not made from the funds of a corporation, labor organization, or foreign national where prohibited by law.
• You are not a federal contractor where such contributions are prohibited.
• You are making this contribution on a personal credit or debit card for which you have the legal obligation to pay.
• You are at least 18 years old, or otherwise permitted by law to contribute.

Contributions are subject to the limits and reporting requirements of Arizona law and the City of Maricopa. Contributor name, address, occupation, and employer information may be required by law and may appear in publicly filed campaign finance reports.

Contributions are generally considered final. If you believe a contribution was made in error, was unauthorized, was a duplicate, or exceeds a legal contribution limit, contact us within 30 days of the transaction and we will review the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

The campaign also reserves the right to refund or decline any contribution at its discretion, including any contribution that cannot lawfully be accepted.

Purchases of campaign merchandise (such as t-shirts) and event tickets are contributions to the campaign and are likewise not tax deductible. Purchase amounts, less the fair market value of goods received where applicable, may be reported as contributions.

Merchandise: items are printed to order. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items may be replaced or refunded if reported within 14 days of delivery with a photo. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and sizing-preference exchanges may not be available.

Event tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to another guest. If an event is canceled by the campaign and not rescheduled, ticket amounts may be refunded or, at your election, retained as a contribution.

Yard signs are provided free of charge while supplies last, remain the property of the campaign, and are placed only with the property owner's permission and in compliance with local sign regulations.

Online payments are processed by Stripe. The campaign does not store your full card number. Charges appear on your statement under the campaign committee's billing descriptor.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your information is kept secure and confidential.

Information you share with us — your name, email, phone, ZIP, optional home address, and what matters to you — is used only to communicate with you about the campaign and to organize volunteers and events. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the campaign, or where disclosure is required by law, including campaign finance reporting of contributor information.

You can unsubscribe from campaign email at any time using the link in any message or on our preferences page. See our privacy policy for full details.

By providing your phone number or email address you consent to receive campaign updates, event invitations, and volunteer or fundraising messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, contribution, or of your ability to vote.
